OMSI - The Scientific Date

Put your “Einstein” on and take an evening (or a Saturday) to explore the wonders of scientific adventure at OMSI – Oregon Museum of Science and Industry. The museum offers hundreds of exhibits that are “hands-on.” Periodically they feature new attractions so check their website before going to see what new scientific wonders you’ll get to explore with your spouse. Not up for walking around? Check out their state-of-the-art theater to see films on their massive, four story screen. Be sure to schedule a tour of the USS Blueback Submarine which is permanently stationed at OMSI on the Willamette River. This submarine appeared in the move “The Hunt for the Red October.” Top off the date with a trip to the planetarium and fall in love all over again under the stars of the largest planetarium on the Pacific Coast!
